P500 Log Corral Trail 10-30-2022

The Misses and I did a quick ride up the Log Corral trail last weekend. I hadn't been thru there in years. Still running spring water in areas. Multiple rock piles and boulders. Sand washes and washouts. Tried the new skid-plate multiple times. The trail starts off HWY 87 and drops you down to Bartlett Lake. Good times.

Looks like a great ride with lots of views! I'm glad to see someone can get out and enjoy riding, the weather turned ugly here and I won't get a ton more seat time the rest of the year.

I envy you guys that live out in the southwest! Seems there are a lot of opportunities for trail riding within a short distance from home. As well as the scenery is awesome!

Don't get me wrong here- I love the fact that Michigan has so many ORV trails, forestry roads and 2-tracks on public lands to ride, just that I have to plan a minimum 2 hr. drive to get to any of it from my house. Definitely have to have a "day" for the road time to ride.

Ditto! Been doing that for years and still do. Everything is mid state up. That's why Uncle Ted calls us Weekend Warriors!

That's why everyone goes "Up North" on the weekend. I don't know if any other state has quite the same lingo. There's an entire product line dedicated to it.

Thats why I have a cabin and property up there for the same reasons.
Nope, no other state does.

Was it crowded? I've been avoiding everything up in that area just because I don't want to deal with the crowds that usually congregate anywhere near Phoenix.

We met one KTM rider on the way up Log Corral, two very capable Toyota's passed by while we took a break. About 4 Jeeps playing at the boulder pile when we were leaving. Didn't seem to be the hotspot like FourPeaks/Rolls or lower Sycamore.
