Still getting people complaining of issues with Talons caused by bad setup and PDI. Also poorly or improperly installed accessories.
Steering wheels falling off, bolts installed in wrong places, missing seat bolts and clips, wheels rubbing a-arms, etc.
Please look your machine over before you take the first rip in it. If your find a glaring issue like this, point it out to the dealer and if you have to, call Honda and complain. It seems to be the high volume dealers who are the biggest culprits, but some smaller places have been problematic as well. Honda is basically paying us to set-up the unit again and replace parts damaged or missing under warranty.
Find a good local dealer who cares about your machine and your happiness after the purchase, not just getting your money. Sometimes paying a little more can be worth it in the long run.
