1st product:
A-Pod brackets are mounted in the original lower (A-pillar) bolt holes with Hardened Class 10.9 JIS M12X1.25x55mm Flange Bolts. The brackets are designed for single bolt mirrors that mount with a 10mm or 8mm bolt (Seizmik pursuit, Tusk Pivot Folding UTV Mirror), etc. The lightbar portion will fit a 50”- 54” curved lightbar. A-Pod brackets are Laser-cut from high-carbon ¼ USA Steel and powder-coated for corrosion resistance. Using ¼ steel reduces lightbar vibrations on tough trails and provides a solid mount platform for the mirrors; another advantage is that the A-pillar is torqued to OEM specifications and not separated and will not rust the inner A-pillar like other mounting options.
Testing and Passenger Side Mirror Visibility:
We tested the A-pod with three mirrors: our original mirror, the Seizmik Embark, a vertically oriented mirror, the Xprite, and the Tusk Pivot Folding UTV Mirror, which are horizontally oriented mirrors. The passenger side vertically oriented mirror was not visible. Meanwhile, the horizontally oriented Xprite and TUSK mirrors are partially obstructed but fully functional. We tested the bracket by trail-ridding and hitting trees and other obstructions with our mirrors; it was not crazy but purposeful. In our testing, the mirrors folded how they were designed, and the brackets were not bent and undamaged.
