Hunted this weekend, a lot of deer but not a big one. One day I’ll accept you can’t boil, bake, fry or grill antlers.......Nice to “hike” to a stand walking to it behind where you live. Bought the family place a few years ago. Pics are three I had mounted hunting the property. Not huge by western standards but ok for middle GA.

Got rigid box on back after hiding the orange. Starting to lay out area for fencing and barn for animals the wife wants. Had someone clear out heavily wooded area, about 5 acres a few months back.

Don't feel bad about your deer not being very large, I hunted last week and I am a little ashamed of my mule deer buck, only a 4 point and dressed weight of only 180 lbs., been some time since I shot one that small and this is the fist time in several years I did not get my elk. Maybe I should quit hunting and start devoting my time to women's beach volley ball but first I need to go coyote hunting.
