Hello from ATX this is my wife and I first UTV. We sort of split our time between Austin and the Laughlin/Mohave valley area. We just purchased a 2018 Pioneer 1000-5 LE and we can’t wait to ride in new areas and try this “Red Hot” off road market.
We had several Honda ATVs and wanted a top quality UTV that will do it all and seems like we made the right purchase. I love the forums and info and look forward to interacting within the forums.
We spent many years riding in the desert, Glamis Sand dunes, Pismo Beack, St Anthony Idaho and Coose Bay. Most of our riding was on fully built out Honda 250r’s and my wife’s favorite her 400EX thumper. We also had a mid travel Sandrail but sold it all when we moved to Texas. We did keep a trusty 4x4 Ford Bronco
The UTV market seems a perfect mix of everything we love doing and the Pioneer giving us the room to pack Ice chest, chairs, ez-ups and the family to just hang out by the river.
