Here is the bracket I have used both on a Polaris Ranger in the mid 2000's that I mounted on the tailgate, and what I am using now on my P5 mounted on the center of the cargo basket. What I like about this arrangement is that its removable which is nice if mounted on a tailgate.
I purchased my bracket from Tractor Supply Company years ago, but unfortunately I couldn't find it on their web site but I did locate it from Agrisupply
