New P1000-5 owner

Hello, I'm Superthrill

Finally took the plunge and brought home a new 1000-5 Deluxe from Chattanooga this past weekend.

Been into the offroad scene for years. From dirt bikes to UROC, XRRA, ECORS racing and rockcrawiling.

Taking out the hard core rock crawler got to be such a big production that it wasn't as fun anymore.

So I picked up the P1000 for my wife and grandson and I to play around in .

Really looking forward to the first trip out! Now to sort out all the mods??

Here is a little info about me to begin with!
Honda SxS ownership : Yes, this is my first.
I have owned, or currently own the following: ATV, Motorcycle, Go Cart
My off-road experience level is: Skilled
My favorite place to ride is: Windrock

Congratulations, I am also a newer 1000-5 owner and so far I love it! I also ride primarily at Windrock and have made several modifications that were recommended by Windrock 1000 on this group, extra clearance control arms, 2.5” super Atv lift, fox shocks, skid plate, mud buster flares, 32” 8 ply tires since the stock tire got busted on a rock, jbl audio till Friday when I get my Probox roof. I also did a dual battery setup. I have a gps tablet from lifetime trail maps as well. These are fun to ride and just as fun to upgrade

Thanks guys. Today I do my vent lines and add backup lights and interior lighting.

Not going to crazy suspension wise as I have a rock bouncer for that. Winch and dual batteries are next. Looking at the Viper Max 4500. Got to find a spare rim and tire somewhere as well. Plan on mounting a spare.

I have ran across several sxs's on the trail with cut sidewalls to bad to plug.
