New Talon Owner in FL

Hey guys, new to this forum and haven't owned a Honda since my '04 TRX450R. Switched to four wheels from MX years ago, and more recently to SxS's. Owned three RZR's, with a heavily modded 900 S as my current. Been wanting something new and different, so wife and I went "window shopping" yesterday. Interests; Honda Talon, KRX, Pro XP, and X3 XMR. All different machines with pros and cons.

Well... ended up pulling the trigger on a deal for a '19 green R model. Excited to learn about the machine on here and begin the mods!

I recommend installing a under roof snorkel to get the air intake in clean air. Next adjust the tender spring cross over rings up 5 turns in the front and 10 in the rear for a better low speed ride. You can go more but make sure the cross over occurs before tender spring coil bind. You will have fun setting it up and the mods are endless.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I do have a photo at the dealer, but everyone has seen that. I'll take another when I pick it up tomorrow. Was hard to walk out without it, but we were booked yesterday and couldn't ride anyways.

First mods are mud tires/wheels - not using my sets from the RZR because 14" wheels are tight on the Talon. Will have 35s for putting around here, and 32" trail tires for everywhere else. Snorkel, winch, full skid and nerfs. Researching those options now. Pic of mud wheel/tire setup (not mine). Had this on the showroom at the dealer.

Thanks guys - got her home today. Working on getting the RZR back together/out of the way - little tight in the front garage!

Looks like I need to adjust the shocks. They're rock hard like many have stated and crossovers look way too low. Excited to start wrenching on it.
