Looking to buy either a Honda Pioneer 500 or 700! Just sold my Honda Rancher ES. Still have a Honda Rebel ( showroom condition ) to sell (make room) for a side by side. Being a senior need something a little more suited to my age (77). Love Hondas, really wouldn't go with anything else. Reading lots of reviews. Thanks

Welcome to the club from Tennessee. Either way is a good choice from what I have seen from members on here

I’ve had both and currently have a 1000-5, that’s a tough choice, both are great machines.

The dump bed on the 700 should serve you well. A 700/4 has 2 jump seats for smaller riders or others making a 4 person ride! Having the bed and able to dump things loaded in it has worked really well for me! The deluxe comes with electric power steering and works great. I really like my 700/4 deluxe.

If you're tall, a 1000-5 will have more comforts and have a higher resale value. I started with a 500, bought a 1000-5 but still have the 500 and I'm glad I do. Welcome to the club.

Howdy from Oklahoma! You can't go wrong with either one. Just don't trust the advice of anyone under 70 on this forum. ;)

I went with the P500 because I have some pretty tight trails to navigate, and have not been disappointed. The P700 offers a little more comfort, and about the same performance.

Welcome from Canton, OH! Can't wait to see pictures of the new ride regardless which way you go. Ride red!

Welcome to the forum. Tough choice, guess you’ve got to figure out which has more positives for your needs as they are completely different rigs. Either way both are super dependable.

Welcome from Mississippi. Someone on here should be able to help. A few folks have had both and should be able to help.

WELCOME from NW Arkansas! If you plan to use it in the yard, the turf mod on the 1000 is invaluable, you can turn circles and never tear up the turf. Does Texas have grass? HA!
