I am looking to add some switches to my pioneer. For each individual switch there will be around 10 to 15 amps max per switch. I see on the OTRATTW website that the switches I am looking at are rated at 20 amps. Should I still use relays or just fused leads? Thank you.

They have great switches. Fused leads will be fine. Some guys really like the switch pro as well.

Thank you! I am planning my switch panel. I think I will go with an 8 switch from pbr. So far it seems my winch is the only accessory that needs relays.

Do they use Carling switches? I'm guessing not since they are so cheap. Many folks have tried cheaper versions but the true Carling switches seem to be the only ones that last. Ive never had a carling brand switch fail. Even after years of use. Guys with the knock offs seem to be lucky if they make it 6 months.

So building a panel can get expensive which is why some have gone with a switch pro. All up to you but I like to buy once cry once.

No. Your winch doesnt need a relay.
The small red wire might pull 1 amp. It should be key-on.
The large wires should be direct or the battery.

I am planning on using the OTRATTW switches with the pbr panel.

This is the panel I have picked out


For one round hole I am going to use a voltmeter, for the 2.d round hole will be the horn switch. The horizontal rocker opening will be for turn signals. Then I will have radiator fan, engine fan/under the seat fan, radio, winch in/out, front led, side led, rear led, and whip led. That leaves me one opening.

No. Your winch doesnt need a relay.
The small red wire might pull 1 amp. It should be key-on.
The large wires should be direct or the battery.
So I can use the OTRATTW winch in and out switch directly to the battery and winch with no relays?

I have the OTRATTW lower independent contura V switches picked out. I picked the OTRATTW switches because I saw on here alot of people like them. This is the contura V switch details

Thank you all for your responses! I am excited because that means a little less wiring for me :p I am hoping to do a dual battery setup with all this and use an 80 amp Stinger isolator with an auxillary fuse box that will run all the switches.

It will be a couple months. September is my superatv flip with wfo adjuster, October is going to be high lifter control arms, November will be for electrical. That is all just getting started :p

I used one of those on my first build and it worked fine. Its not water tight but if you aren't submerging it you'll be fine. Got a little wet once in a while but never failed.
I used a water tight cooper bussman the second time around. A little more work but seals up better. Keep us posted. Love seeing progress.
