I would suggest that unless you definitely are going to be hauling kids in the rear seats of a 1000-5 look for the 1000-3. I bought the 1000-5 last October since there where no 1000-3's in my area,I run through mud quite regularly and the convertible seats are just an extra pain in the ass to clean!!!

Yep. I have no use for the back two seats. Love my 3! Bed is a touch bigger too.

I bought an 18 5 seat because I couldn't get a new 18 3.
Once mudflaps were installed, cleanup is pretty easy.

Jack it up remove the rear tires. Line up the mud flaps and drive in the self tapping screws. 10 minute eyeballing how you want them set up and maybe 30 minutes install .
Very easy.
