If I was going with a balls to the wall buggy, I'm not sure the Talon would be my first choice.
Probably because the Talon isn't intended to be a 'balls to the wall buggy', I suspect.

The utility side was the reason I bought the Pioneer instead of the Talon to begin with. Said utility side has only really been used once since I bought the bike, to haul a deer from the back of the property, which could've easily been put in the front end loader of my tractor or the back of my truck, so I doubt I'll miss having that. To be fair to the bike though, I only put on about 100 of the 780ish miles that are on it. The rest were put on by my little nieces and nephews being rode around the property while i was gone back to west Texas for work. Which would you recommend though, the 2 seater or the 4 seater?
With the talon of course I wanted a utility atv for deer season - got a barn find Suzuki king quad - 300, don’t even know what year it was other than it had 500 miles on it - still has original tires - i use it endlessly for deer hunting and it is small - just point it and goes thru the trees - no trails needed - it is the unofficial deer drag for me and my buddies - best money well wasted <$1K - not fancy but boy is it simple, air cooled, carbureted, my cup of tea

From what I see, hear and read it may not be the best choice for crawling, either. Lots of branches on the decision tree, as I like to say.

I OWN NEITHER A P1K NOR A TALON, so even a grain of salt may be wasted here . . .

...like where CP has said the Talon is a tougher machine than the P1K5. I would like to see them beef up the Pioneer to match that.

Or make another unit that's aimed at sport with some utility, vs the Pioneer which is kind of more utility / recreation.
