kinks are out just design now if you have a lower bed =to where the back of the door hits might be awkward i designed mine to touch

i wont beable to drop the top point of the hinge but if i do a flat offset not angle to the latch it would look good for the honda bed

My only concern, and no not a criticism, is the only one latch but not sure how you would do two...I have a tendency, as does my better half, of using the door as a support when we get out (yep we're older and heavier-LOL)...do you have a habit of leaning on that door when you get out...Just asking Nice design BTW

you would have to rehabbit your grabbing habbits the 1 hinge it to allow adjust for sag over time even tho i havent had to do that yet

being rear hinge there is already alot of weight being pressed on them (even tho they dont weigh alot) just nature of the design i can try a 2 hinge but that would require drilling the cage and wont be a bolt on design

let me try something tomorrow im 220lbs ill open my door and put my full weight on the farthest point and see if it effects the hinge mounting at all i might beable to weld a brace for sag

I'm really wanting full doors for mine. Could your design be used with full doors? If you could just build the frame, I could have a local canvas guy use vinyl material to cover it and he could sew in clear vinyl windows.

I think your price your gonna ask for those doors are more then fair I just had a set made for my p500 made out of 3/16 aluminum skin and 1''in aluminum tube with stainless steel hinges door straps and line X in red I paid $ 400 bucks for both doors installed

I don't think we'll be getting aluminum skin, stainless steel hinges (you got two hinges???!!!) line x or installation. So kind of not apples to apples.
