P500 P5oo Cylinder material?

Anyone know if the cylinder in the P5 has a cast iron sleeve or is it aluminum with a nickasil coating? The Honda parts fiche shows 2 over sized pistons..... +.25mm & +.50mm so I assume it's cast iron.

I found a piston that's 1.5mm (.060") oversized, that works out to 490cc...... a 15cc bump.

I found that piston too! Still consider that big bore kit but I can get a 0632 Garret turbo for $625. I stand firm that if with this exhaust and PC V if I can get it to pull better than stock gears I'll call it good. NOTE: I do not notice difference 1-4th gears, and 5th is FINE out to beyond 40! Just my personal goal!

All Honda atvs are iron sleeves. Not coated like race bikes and like.

Sounds like someone is going to be modding! !!

Might be worth a shot, the piston/rings are less than $80, if I can find a core to play with that'd be great but if not a new cylinder is $280 from Honda in case it doesn't work out or I need to return it to stock.
