P1000 Pioneer 1000-5 dual snorkel air cleaner delete

Have been wanting to snorkel my 1000 but haven’t liked any set ups I currently see on other units I will be adding air filters to end of each pipe. I deleted factory air box and used a 1 1/2 flexible hose what’s your guys opinions

If anything were to happen to 1 of the pipes and not the other than your hurting 1 cylinder.

I'd rather have both cylinders receiving air from the same tube/location.

Amazon it worked great this weekend and ordered 44mm air filters to put on end worked out great

I understand where house coming from but with any snorkel if you have a issue that cuts off the intake to cylinder motor will stall so either way your going to have issues

My first though is you may suck in some of your own dust drawing air from behind the front seats, particularly if you run a windshield.

Maybe spin the feed forward over the front seats?

That’s why I installed filters on the ends of flexible pipe to keep dust and severe out of engine
