Exclusive to the Honda SxS Club, The Honda Pioneer 1000 "Carbon Fiber Edition". You will not find this custom Pioneer 1000 at any other dealer in the country... bla. bla. bla... lol.

But not to worry. Thanks to @jrplaza2008 at Creative UTV Graphics, you can customize your Pioneer however you like.
Early December I sent in a request for a custom color. I wanted Carbon Fiber. The very next day they responded. My order was placed and delivery made in short time. Finally after a few weeks and the holidays I found some time to install the kit.

Here are some pictures of the completed unit.

The kit arrived pre-cut ready to place with ample overlap to stretch.

To install the panels. I cleared off the coffee table and started to work. Using a blow dryer to help stretch the vinyl. I found the correct vinyl and panel to match. Lined it up and started to mesh them together. I left the overlap on the back side stretching it around.
IMAG1953 IMAG1954 IMAG1971 IMAG1970

Finished up all the panels.
IMAG1924

Seeing all the wires that needed to be removed from the front fenders . I decided to NOT remove it. However. I did remove the headlights and loosened the side fenders along with the front grill. This was tricky as it was composed of 3 pieces... Dont look.. But you can see some runs and... I did not even think about lining up the pattern until after it was done. :(

Overall. I would declare the dimples as the most troublesome. My method was to wrap the panel first. Then return to stretch the dimples in. Once stretched a bit. I cut a X where the hole was and that helped released the pressure allowing it to stretch onto the dimple walls. Installing the panels sighted another issue as the screws would twist the vinyl. I had to make a repair cutting out the mess up and applying a patch.
IMAG1955IMAG1956IMAG1957IMAG1958IMAG1959
The solution to this was to use a washer along with the blow dryer. I chose this nylon washer --> The Hillman Group 58061 0.75 Natural Nylon Spacer, Number- 7/16, 30-Pack . One box will almost do as you need 32. I was short 2. Decide to try a metal washer painted black. This cut into the vinyl worse then without and I had to do more repairs.

Very nice the CF pattern / color compliments the OEM black like a two tone graphite color from a distance.

awesome job I tried to get started this weekend and not only had problems with the dimples but some of the hard corners.... Didn't take pics I need a little clean up but I did try an oversized circle patch to do away with the dimple all together

@chadbo,
Me and @JACKAL talked about that too. But I just decided to go this route. One could line it up just right no one would know. I do have extra... Lol.

I'm liking that a lot! How well do you think they will hold up to scratches and a pressure washer?

Ohhh.. Lol.
It twisted. Yep. You need the washers.
Or. Cut out and lay the large circle over it to hide like you mentioned.

Looks good. I dont think we are skilled enough to get all the kinks out. I had a few just like yours!

I been reading about a few of you going with carbon fiber..

And I'm over here like...
Hurry up and get off your butt and get it done. You had the kit for over a month now. Hahaha.

Looks very cool, but too much work for me. Maybe honda will come out with more color options in near future? I would have liked bright silver metallic to match my truck, but ended up with the only color my dealer had....Honda red, blaah, but what the heck will be scratching the heck out of it anyway while hunting . Yours looks very cool though, showroom floor cool.

Good job. It's not hard but then again not easy. Just takes lots of patience.

Tried a dimple hole patch tonight.
Wow. If I didn't tell you. You would not even know it was there.
I may do a whole side this weekend.

Looks really good! Curious how much it cost you to set it up. (I know someone said you need almost one roll) Also did you have any problems with the plastic "sweating"? I know we tried a few different wraps and the flat pieces stayed fine, but the " sweat" or the juice that comes with the plastic heating up ended up causing the curved lines to bubble... It looked really good at first.. but after a couple days it started coming up..
