I have a 2016 pioneer 1000 and was considering putting 27x8.5R14 buckshot 2’s on it and also 14 inch rims. Has anyone tried this? I would like to know if the 8.5” wide tires look ok or if they just aren’t wide enough. I would also like to know what kind of offset I would need to get with new 14” rims? Any help is appreciated

I appreciate the reply. Your rig looks good, I considered a 15” rim but am a little scared to go that big. Does it seem to pull those tires and rims alright or can you tell a loss in power? About all I have found in the rim I am wanting with a offset is either 3+5 or a 0mm offset. Would you recommend a different rim with a 5x2 offset or would one of those others be ok?

0 would be 3.5x3.5 that would make it more app to rub more rim further out from ball joint, they did take a little power but not bad in low on the trails didn't notice took a little from the brakes. As heavy as side wall it I don't think I would do bead lock again lot of work to get it right with truck tires. Took a little from ride too but much quieter and handles well on chip and seal .I did half to add one screw to keep it from rubbing finder flare.61ea71d41d387227db767f9c7021c839

So a 5x2 would be further in towards the center of the machine right? Sorry for all the questions, I don’t understand these offsets too well
