Pioneer tire suggestion?

Just bought a 2020 Honda Pioneer 1000-5 Deluxe. Went on my first trail ride and realized how poor the 4ply bighorns perform. I've been researching for days through forums and I figured I just ask everyone. Looking for an all terrain tire. I live in MN and do mostly trail riding, light mudding and it will be used for ice fishing. Light pavement riding in order to get to the trails near my house. Looking at at least an 8ply and DOT compliant if possible. If anybody has been in my same position and has any advice it would be greatly appreciated!

I have the stock 14" deluxe rims. I see they some in 28x18x14... I'm definitely curious now.

But with the stock DLX rims, rears are wider then fronts. You'll want 28/9/14 up front and 28/11/14 rear

Their not too heavy at 38lbs? I've read thru these forums that the weight of tires has a big impact performance.

I honestly couldn't advise you on the weight issue. I haven't upgraded my tires yet but I know a lot of guys are running bigger tires and I dont think its that big of an issue. 35lbs-40lbs seems to be about the average for thebbigger tires I think.

Are you racing?? If not, should not be a problem. I have 28x10x12s on mine @43# ...... no problem.

Can you run 28x10x14's on all 4 corners without problems them? I assumed the stick 2" offset was there for a reason.

I like 28x10s. Now that I have arched arms on all 4 corners, I'm really tempted to jump to 30s

That does look good. I suppose it's easier to carry a spare when there all one size to.
