P 1000 - 3 got 2,298 miles but would be over 10,000 by now. Got 1,716 on my 2016 Yamaha YXZ, over 3,600 on 2016 Yamaha wolverine, over 1100 on my Pioneer 700, and over 3,000 on my Pioneer 500. I go riding nearly everyday. The P1000 is amazing. The 2017 models should please everyone.

Oh that's 11,000 on my pioneer 700. It is an amazing ride and great on rock crawling where I can inch along in the rocks without burning up a belt or clutch. With a belt or clutch I stay above 3 mph to prevent damage.

So what on earth do you do besides wearing out SXS for a living? Reason is I retire in 2 days and this looks like a dang fine "hobby job"

Been retired for over 20 years and too old to ride Mt Bikes, Motorcycles, or Quads. With Age comes the Cage, just too old to get hurt. The Yamaha YXZ is my 14th side by side and just can't get this racing thing out of my system. Some of us never grow up. Got the first Honda Sport model ordered. You will like retirement. You get up everyday and do anything you want.

Sounds like the leisure time I have hoped for. If moving doesn't kill me first. Nowhere to ride in IL where I spent my career but eastern TN is looking mighty fine.

How many miles do u have on your 1000 and do u ride mild medium and hard? any clutch issues? and was it an early production purchase?
2250 miles. No problems, mixed riding. Have clocked 21mpg when cruising 30mph with ethanol-free gas. Very impressed with it except for cab. Wasn't expecting psunami to enter from under the dash the first time I hit a descent mud hole

Zero problems other than minor rattles. Right at 270 miles - purchased in February. I run it pretty hard, in high range 95% of the time; plenty of lugging to keep rpms down (and noise). Love the pioneer; just waiting for time to pass so we get the clutch thing figured out.

Yeah! What?

You can order one too @joeymt33 just write your dealer a check for $1000 they will put you on the list, I believe they will be delivered about 6 weeks after the P1K5D Metallic Silver units arrive. You know the ones people have been waiting on since last September LOL

Just turned 900 miles with no issues. Second service at 700 miles with valve check and everything on the money.
600 miles. Oil at 100 and 500. Now running synthetic blend. Most miles in town at 45 -50. In 4wheel drive one time about a twenty mile ride. Early purchase 1st on at the dealer.

Just rolled over 400 miles this past weekend. I know it's not big miles, but I've had no issues. I did install a FUTV skidplate and am about to install factory size Roctanes due to punctures in the stock tires. Got a trip to Arkansas on the 4th of July weekend; getting ready to roll.

Just hit 650 miles this weekend. Every ride it gets more impressive! Seems a little faster too. Smoother running , rides better. Rode this weekend with the a wildcat 700 and a razr 900-4. They are both real impressed. The razr 4 seats are a bus, but the length and suspension makes them unbelievable in rock climbing. We did a pretty wicked climb we all watched each other climb it and bounce around, but the razr just walked over the stuff like nothing. What a fun weekend it was, I've got to get a different mount for my go pro so I can use it, since I'm not one for taking pictures.
