It gives you the ability to tune the Pioneer. Guys on here have seen an 8hp increase on a stock machine.

I really can't answer that question as heat is relative to the driver. For me it's not hot even in the middle of summer in Tennessee. It "should' cut down on some of the heat by richening the fuel mixture. These machines like to run an AFR of 13.0.
