Hello from Wisconsin! My p500 is still in the crate and I was thinking about having the dealer install the upgraded honda bumper (no labor charge) when they put it together. My question is, does the kfi high mount work with this bumper? Or is there a better option? I'd like to install a warn 3500lb winch in the near future and the high mount looks like it would work better with lifting a plow.

Thanks, and looking forward to being an active member on this forum.

Check the battery cover nuts. Many have been over tightened and spin.

Congratulations on the new rig... never get tired of my 2015 P5. The KFI mounts and 66” plough have been very durable for 5 or so years along with Superwinch. Would by them all again in a heartbeat. P5 makes me laugh every time I take it for a spin.
Cheers.

Thanks again. I ordered the honda brushguard, kfi winch mount, and terra35 superwinch. Normally I install a warn winch but wanted to try something different. Hopefully it last. I plow a lot of snow.

Check out the Strongmade front bumper as an option.

I did check out the strong made bumper, and I do like it. I really considered it but I wasn't sure how long it would take to get, and really want to get my winch and lights installed this weekend. It the only free weekend I have for the foreseeable future.

Kind of, except you'll be working and I'll be sitting outside my camper, with drink in hand, watching the kids play in the pond. Lol. But I did plant a 1/4 acre food plot tonight. Lol

I just added the same plow and I'm amazed at how well this little machine will plow 12 inches of heavy wet snow.

Yup not on the toy end of the spectrum (as I had anticipated), but an excellent little work horse and plough. If you have the same KFI mount as me ensure you keep an eye on the bottom two front bolts (bottom and side of bumper/KFI mount plate), mine have come loose from ploughing. Probably should just lock tight the threads....

Also after mashing a few synthetic Winch rope ends I spliced on a piece of nylon tow webbing, works awesome and I leave on year round.
