I know some have talked about switching to buckets but gave up do to the work. What about a suspension bench seats? I know all the mfg make custom seats if you want them...

Biggest problem is lowering the seat without changing the fuel tank. For any kind of buckets you would have to cut the seat mounting structure and lower it for the seat mounts but the fuel tank is right there. Obviously adding a larger fuel tank would be really nice. The stock tank is barely adequate

I installed a Teryx bucket seat back. It moves you forward about 1 1/2 inch so it may not be good for a tall person. I haul the motorcycle on my long remote rides just in case. Got over 10,600 miles on it now and nothing broke, probably a record for a side by side. I'm getting the clutch update next week.

Can you explain how you did this please? I’m extremely interested and where did you get the seat from? Tia

I have thought about that in past but price and the height of seat always stopped me. Although I did make some mounting brackets for some rzr seats once that just snap in to the bench braces and secures with a bolt I gave up on the project not sure why.

I sat in @Windrock1000 buggy at takeover and was suprised at how comfortable it was with the RZR seats. It does move you up and forward

I open up the seat back and removed the foam and glued it back down. I used staples on the edges. The seat back is a first year Kawasaki Teryx 4. I cut the bottom off the seat frame and bolted it through the Pioneer seat in 4 places. You can see the top two bolts and large washers. The bolts are a 6x1 metric thread. Got the parts from Rocky Mountain ATV. The black seat on the first year 4 seat teryx is the cheapest. Its really comfortable on a 5 to 6 hour ride. The passenger side can be done the same way. I over 17,500 miles on it now.

I drive it with and without the seat bottom automotive cushion. The seat back moves you forward about 1.5 inches and may not be good for a tall driver.
