I have a 2018 pioneer 1000. I went to had a second battery today, and i seen this random wire on my original battery. Its connected to the positive and negative, it also has a fuse on it. I went to the honda website and from what i can tell the end doesnt match up to any of their stuff. Does anyone reconize this wire and would be able to tell me what it is used for?

That’s what I’ve been using it for on the ranch and then I have a solar powered tender on it when it’s parked.

I’ve seen those battery maintainer pigtails added at the dealer as part of the setup process. They of coarse tack on the charge at purchase whether you want it or not.

It’s ok, they only charged me two dollars for it. ;)
