Do you think you had a dry stick or something touching the exhaust that may have caused it to ember?

No sign of any burnt debris. But I had washed it after Coalmont

Have you been close to a camp fire that may have blown something onto it?

Nope. The right rear passenger floor is really close to the exhaust pipe and no heat shield

The only question left is, did @JTW ride back there with his shoes off? If so it was probably his stinking feet that melted the plastic. Lol

I'd hope that'd be warranty repair.

It is close, and does get hot right there.
I have seen 200F after a lot of slow steady climbs with little airflow but if I kick the bilge fan on it drops by 60F

This is after a good workout, I was moving pretty good. So plenty of airflow in this example with no fan.

That's a first for me as well. You'd think if it was from the exhaust, there'd be more than just one rig doing it?
