P1000 Rear panel storage mod with the rear fabric panel

For anyone out there that has done the rear panel (behind rear doors) AND have added a rear fabric panel, how did you attach the D-Ring strap to the panel given it uses the same hole as one of the hood pin latches?

Haven't had a chance to mess with it too much yet, but was probably going to drop a rivet right above the hood pin latch. Figured I'd ask here for any elegant solutions before I get into it this weekend.

Really if you do the rear door storage mod it provides plenty of space, if you need those points for the rear panel might just skip making that storage as it doesn’t add a ton I wouldn’t think. I only did the rear doors.

That is kind of what I am thinking for now and then figure it out when it gets warmer.
