With winter approaching I'm thinking of adding a plow to the 1000. I plowed with the 700 and it did great. However I find the push tube for the sxs to flimsy. I found a rear blade through cabelas. I see plenty of farmers plowing this way with tractors. Any one used this set up on a tractor? It's only $200 .

I doubt a rear blade would work well with a side by side. I have one for my tractor and I usually have to turn it around and plow in reverse (tractor is 4x4). Otherwise the tires just spin with more than a couple inches of snow. A blade on the front puts weight on the tires, increasing traction (same as going in reverse with a rear blade). Blades on the rear have all the weight on the blade and not on the tires. This makes them spin instead of dig.
