Just looking for some ideas to mount my registration sticker on the rear. We have to run one of those stickers that are about the size of a motorcycle plate or hair smaller. I'm pretty sure it won't stay on the tailgate by itself with the bumpy plastic.

Get a piece of aluminum 0.030 - 0.065 thick can be had in 12"x12" squares at tractor supply stores or even Lowes. cut to a little larger than the sticker like +1/2" wider & taller. Pop rivet the aluminum to the center of the tailgate, clean the metal, apply your sticker.

I like that idea. I was actually thinking something along those lines. I wish they'd just give us an option for a real plate!

I didn't want to drill holes in mine so I took a piece of 1/8" aluminum and two two hole pipe clamps and made this. NH used to have stickers (they changed last year after I made this) that were about 4"x6" now they have got smaller which worked out good for me as it gave me a place to put my hondasxs sticker
