So first off I would like to say thanks to everyone that shared kind words on my 'For Sale ad' for my P1K5. It was an amazing machine and I wish I could have both.
Anyway, 3 months ago I purchased my R4 and I haven't looked back.
Here she is fresh off the trailer after an almost easy 3 hour drive home.
Like I said... almost easy trip home.
First up I wanted a little taller tire....
So I threw on some 31" Terrabites.
Here it is with the new rubber installed along with a few extras like my side mirrors, rearview mirror and a cooler I strapped onto the back for some added cargo.
Soon after, I ordered an Amazon special fold down windshield that was recommended to me by a friend and so far it has absolutely been awesome. My P1K5 windshield was poly and I told myself my next one would be glass. So far I am glad I made the switch. I do not have any pics of the windshield being installed, unfortunately. Next, I spent several days wiring up some lights. I added 4 cube lights. 2 of them are spot and 2 of them are flood. Due to the fold down windshield taking up so much real estate, it was a tough choice on what kind of lights and where I would put them. I also removed the front 12v socket and added a USB/voltmeter. The voltmeter is for the isolated/dual battery that I installed under the drivers seat. Then added a couple interior lights, a back flood light, homemade turn signal kit, horn, 4-point harnesses, 2 cage mounted saddle bags above the front seats and a couple extra soda holders!
Added the Trail Armor skid plate!
So there you have it for now.
So far my future add-ons will be...
-pre-filter
-winch
-beadlocks
..one day I will convert all my switches to an Auxbeam panel.
To the lucky person that bought my P1K5.... I salute you! 🫡
Thanks to all..
