I’m in need of little help!! I put up a 12’’ nilight for a back up light. The problem I’m having is it’s wired up good. But when I hook it to the rocker switch it will come on. Then once I turn it off it won’t work anymore. I got one ground from the light hooked to the ground on the switch. The other ground has the ground from the fuse box. Then I have a hot wire coming from the fuse box and the hot wire from the light going to the correct spot to where it says to hook them up. I’m using method A. Any and all help is greatly appreciated

Sounds like you’re trying to ground the light through the switch. Run light ground to fuse panel then run a separate ground to switch. The ground on the switch is just to ground for the switch illumination

No problem hope it helps
I hooked it up like that it come on and off now. But when it’s in the off position it flashes off and on. I believe it’s a bad rocker switch

I got it all hooked up right. The rocker was flashing in the off position. Finely my dumb ass figured out the power wire connector was touching the light connector and making it flash. So I heat shrieked them now we good to go. Thanks for the assistance
