Salmon River

Had to go in for back surgery so I figured I better put a few more miles on the Pioneer before I was laid up. Took a quick trip over the mountains and down into the Salmon River canyon. I've only recovered for a week and my daughter is already harassing me to get back out there.

Are you near North Fork? If so, I've been there. Very beautiful area with some very old, cool mines.

PS: I hope the surgery goes well and you have a speedy recovery.

We are only about two miles up river from the Snake River confluence, heart of Hell's Canyon. The North Fork is a cool area, only been there a few times. I plan to get to know that area a lot better now with the P500.

Fish for Stealhead below North Fork on the Salmon river. Going to be over there close in a little bit Salmon fishing by Challis. Great area to ride, lots of trails.
