I've driven some backcountry roads in those areas too. I love fishing at moose creek reservoir though.

That place rocks and even though the economy of the people in the area was a bit depressed, the folks there were some of the nicest people I've ever met! I've camped there3x now and it gets busy on the weekends but it mostly fishing and camping. Some of the locals even fished off my little dock. Great place. Here are some photos of Bovil, Idaho last time I went through there. This was before I bought my Pioneer 500. Back in me overlanding days. 1st picture is through my camper window.

You can see for miles, I love how you can see the paths just zig zagging back and fourth through the mountains, very cool!

Damn good weekend. Gotta flat with the p1K5 but received a free tire in St. Maries so back on the trails. Also installed new driveshaft so had 4wd finally, NEEDED it this weekend. The clay was slick as heck!
We beat the crap out of the machines @WillyBill did awesome. Climbed a really bad 1/2mile climb dirt bike hill one that big machine has never been up. Winched a little bit it makes you believe in the 500. Very steep and sketchy. Power isn’t an issue. With the front locker, width added, 2.0’s and a very experienced driver it’ll go! Stock 500 would not have come close.
Had a few first timers with us, one girl had never been in the woods. Her tune changed after some time in the trails. Learned a dirt bike and got to drive the Wolverine a bit. She was my co-pilot in Pioneer for awhile, scared at first but I started explaining what trees we were gunna hit and why, showed her our marks on them and she soon was laughing and singing tithe music.
Rained a good portion but made the trails fun. Coming sliding into corners and off trees is always a blast. This weekend we couldn’t get any of the Rzrs to follow, most didn’t even come off the trailers due to conditions. Lmao. Bunch of bushwhacking, hauling ass in super tight trails, and a couple climbs. Had my Pioneer loaded down with 5 adults and big cooler a lot of it, makes me super appreciate the ability in the 1000-5, no other machine can do that and most can’t follow it doing that, good times. Made the new guy sick though the woods sitting shotgun lol. Love that machine.
