You had the wrong terminology, it's called swamp ass.

Yeah, common problem that's been going on for yrs. You can use other products, foil backed carpet, bubble wrap stuff, Dynamat... most require using some type of adhesive. A QuickShield is the only one I know of that doesn't require permanently altering the machine at all. You'll still be able to access everything under the seat as well. Then you'll be hitting those puddles at speed.
