I have made my selection of tires / wheels for my P1k. I will be going with STI Roctane XD size 30x10-14 on STI HD5 beadlocks.

In the past, me and 14" wheels don't seem to get along. I have busted 5 different ones forcing me to stick to 12" wheels. I hope these STI beadlocks will be able to hold up.

So.. What do you think?

Good choice. I run the tires, but have STI silk coat bead locks 14". Great for severe service such as rock crawling. Very heavy tire though. Shouldn't be an issue with a DCT. FYI, friend of mine works at Honda South Carolina. He told me no problem fitting 15" wheels with 30" tires. I ran 2.0 big horns previously. Not much good for my use. They looked like porcupine with all the tire plugs .

I like the Black water Evos too. They keep pulling the heavy pioneer even with 3 tires on the ground.

My brother runs those. Very good tire. A little too rounded at the contact patch for me. We both go over the same terrain

Be sure and order the correct bolt pattern for the P1K it is 136mm x 4 not the standard Honda 110mm x 4, bigger machine = bigger hubs.

Here is what I am going to run on my P1000-5. these are listed as guaranteed to fit both the Kawasaki & Can Am's, SXS with 4x 136mm hubs. I will get 5 matched Tires and Rims so I have an identical spare, "just in case". Not taking chances with an 1,800 lbs. SXS.
Part #'s below are from RMATV for reference purposes.
(5) STI HD-3 Rims 14" x 7" 4/137mm with 6+1 offset Black / Machined Part# 1379380027
(20) STI Tapered Spline Drive Lug Nut 12mm x 1.50 Chrome Part# 1431940001
(1) STI Tapered Spline Drive Lug Nut Key Black Part# 1431950001
(5) STI Roctane XD 30" x 10" x 14" on all four corners Part# 1420930010

** forgot to mention, with the 6+1 offset should be between 60-61" wide instead of 63'+ this offset is only available in this rim with this particular bolt pattern. OEM Spec width is 62.9" don't know if that's rollcage / frame, fenders, or tires. Don't want to create a monster for dodging trees being too wide.

I don't like the roctans but it ain't my money. I would go ahead and buy PittBull tires if i was getting the 1000.. rims should be fine.

The Roctanes look similar to my EVOs so I would probably like them. Are they 8 ply like the EVOs?

Yes 8 ply radials, and in my experience tougher than woodpecker lips.

So you are getting the 4/137 wheels by sti,? I talked to the place today that I order from and they told me that 4/136,4/136.5 and 4/137 all will work with the 4/137 wheel, and what I'm seeing is that Teryx is 4/136 with 12mm studs and the Can am is 4/136 is with 10mm studs and they show the same wheel fitting both just different lug nuts . I'm just a little nervous about ordering again since I've done ordered wrong set once and it's costing me some extra money

I absolutely understand your reservations. Especially since you already bought once and will not fit. I am placing my trust in RMATV saying they will fit the 4/136 & 4/137 hubs due to the conical nature of the lug nuts. I have spent way more through them than I care to remember 10K+ and their machine configurator (guaranteeing it will fit properly) has never let me down. They do not have the P1K listed for wheels yet but it is on the list but I did the same matchup with those wheels on both the KAW & CanAm SXS that have actual 4/136 hubs. I would think if they didn't fit they would not be advertising them as doing so. So I will spend my $$ and get them and if they don't fit properly to my satisfaction they will go back on their dime. I have never had to send anything back to them yet in 5 years of doing business with them.

Thanks Jackal ! Yeah the set I've already ordered I made the mistake of mounting them to the tires I have and they got some small light scratches on the outside from mounting them and they won't take them back so I'm stuck trying to sell them so I'm gonna loose big on this deal.

If you have the 4 x 10mm bolt pattern may post up here: Buy / Sale / I-wanna | The Honda Side by Side Club! and see if any P500 or P700 owner is interested, maybe even eBay for a semi local sale. May not take such a reaming after all.
