Question: Just installed my new Super ATV flip up windshield. With my Moose plastic top, there’s about a 6” open gap above the top of the windshield. Was this shield made specifically for the longer Honda OEM top? Thinking of buying a sheet of plexiglass & cutting it to fit the gap.

Better make your mod. If it’s like the the one for the P1 they are like that so it can have room to flip up

I think they were designed to fit as close to the OEM roof as possible, and still allow the flip function. I know a lot of guys that do different mods to seal up the difference. They usually use more weather stipping, (pretty cheap at Lowe's), or even a pool noodle.

I’m gonna fill the gap with corrugated Metal tomorrow. Cut to fit under the roof edge & to match the flip edge of the windshield. Secured with self tapping screws & sealed with adhesive weather stripping. I’ll post pics.

Piece I used is 7” h x 42” w. Secured on each side with a self tapping screw with large flat washer. Allows windshield to flip up & stays sealed tight.
