Swamp Donkey

I have a 2019 Honda Pioneer 1000-3 with a Honda hard top and a Superatv flip windshield. Looking at getting a swamp donkey for a stereo but worried about it fitting with my windshield and being able to open my windshield all the way. Does anyone have this set up and does it work? Thanks!

Could you share a bit about how you like the SD in your Pioneer? I am leaning heavily towards this unit and want to know how others like it. Can you hear it pretty clear at road speed with tires humming along? Had any issues? Can you share a pic of how you positioned the clamps, facing up or into the side of the housing. Thanks in advance.

My super ATV roof is flat with the Cage so my clamps are pointed down. With the extra room available with the factory Honda roof you should have options. You will need an extra set of hands to help get the first to clamps on but after that it’s no problem. It was probably a 15min install. It is very loud. Definitely no worries about not hearing it. I haven’t ever turned it up all the way but can hear it great at 55mph

I custom printed some 6.5" Speaker pods for Kicker KM65's and a custom switch/stereo plate on mine. Also installed a Hifonics 500.2 amp and it sounds really good. No worry about window interference or taking off when hauling down the interstate. Message me if you are interested in a set.

Thank you for the extra help. I have the Shadeidea vinyl mesh top which uses bungees all around. In the front, I like the idea of getting to hang the stereo box a little lower if I want, by putting the screws in midway in the box instead of having to have it sitting as high as possible. I need a little room to keep the bungees reaching the front cross bar above the stereo. Thanks again.

Well I pulled the trigger and ordered the Swampdonkey, with LED speakers. Came to just a hair under $850 with tax, my wife will freak out a bit but I'll say it was her mother's day gift! LOL
