This is a good idea!

5pt harness is much better than a 4pt harness for staying put. The lap belt riding up when the shoulder belts are tightened drives me nuts.

100% agree! I know the sub belt is not exactly located to racing spec's. But keeping the waist belts in position is more important for our usage.

I didn't make the journey to MOM but installed the crotch strap mounts last evening. The fit is perfect and they're sturdy.
