Hi, New to forums and posting so I hope this is correct. I would like to know if anyone could tell me if I need to use spacers or lift to upgrade my factory tires on my 2018 1000-5 le to 30x10-14 all around with 3.5+3.5 wheel offsets or better to go with 30x10-14 with 4+3 wheel offset.
Thanks

From what I've seen imo just do arched forward facing a arms for 30's most are going away from lift for ride .1"spacer in rear and either wheel would work just depends how wide you want it .Welcome to to the addition from sw Missouri. @JTW @Plumber32 @joeymt33 @GlockMeister

Some 30’s are larger than others. 30” EVOs or 30” Terrabites as well as many others will fit with out a lift and forward arms only. In these cases, the wider front wheels will increase the scrub radius and can cause interference.

Larger tires like the 30” Roctanes will require lift and forward offset arms.

Example: 32” terrabite vs 30” Roctane

Here’s a 30” EVO on with no lift or forward arms and a 5-2 wheel.

It’s close to the inner fender. With a 3.5 wheel or front wheel spacers this tire would be even closer

Here’s a short 30 and a true 30

Hope this helps

Thanks for the replies everyone lots of info for me to make a decision. As far as my goal and type of riding I do a lot of rock and mud rides, I have up sized tire in the past on honda rubicons and found that the little taller tire helped a lot with not getting hung up in ruts and reduced rock rubs also was thinking an 8 ply would help with the pinching the sidewalls against rocks.
Thanks again
