dude that sucks. Hope all works out. Broken rib and punctured lung sucks especially at same time. Been there done that. Keep a pillow close in case you have to cough

After my slip-and-fall toward the end of the ride Friday, I decided to get checked out.
Still at the ER, but I seem to have broken a rib.

Chest tube is one of the most barbaric things they can do to you. Not fun when they pull it out either

Did they get you to stop bleeding at least?

Not sure it was actively bleeding when I presented. It had been nearly 48 hrs.
I believe their concern was that I might do something to make it worse, maybe.

They took an xray at 3:30am... no word on that
