Hello everyone. Looking at a '17 1000-5 and thought I would scroll through some your posts for research. I hope to have a deal in place soon as I finally (hope I don't jinx it) have the MRS on board with it haha. Local dealer here has a Blue one in stock which wouldn't be my first choice but I can alway's change the panels or wrap them for custom look. Hope to be able contribute soon.

Welcome to the community! Use the fact that it is the wrong colour to your advantage. Let them know you are settling for that colour so you can remain loyal to them. I pulled the same stunt with my dealer, although the silver I bought was what I wanted. They don't need to know that.

I would normally do that but I'm a Honda employee so I'm already getting a decent deal. While we where talking he agreed the blue was wrong so I still made it sound like I was doing him a favour
