Artist today all sound alike..no matter the genre. When Tom Petty came on you knew who it was. Definitely one of my favorites as well.

I saw him in concert in1978 (memory is getting a little fogy) or 79. Small hall, great show. Ben a big fan before and since. Sure gona miss him.

Could have been the "atmosphere" at the concert.

A talented musician. Something the world knows little of these days.
