Glad to hear that, ice can be a real bugger. I remember getting trapped a few miles out over frozen backwater that receded on my Rincon, broke through with ground 18" below. That there was a sumb**** to get out of.

It was rough we were starting to get worried because it was nothing but muddy swamp and nothing to hook up for winching and besides brother cat which has stock tires and couldnt grab we actually had to remove huge chunks of ice and cut pine trees down for traction

And i had to shut the pioneer off because the water was over the intake lol but gives me a reason to snorkle her

Yeah I can picture that, not a good feeling knowing its going to be a fight every step of the way. Ice isn't fun to play with once you have broken through.

To put im perspective how thick the ice was lol i was standing on that chunk next to the door and had to duck and climb in lol

Nothing to hook to besides another ride that couldnt hook up with traction i carry about 100ft of 20k tow straps plus the 50ft of winch cable and there was nothing that could take the weight
