Gave me a scare when I saw a thread titled "Traveler sold".

I think this one is my favorite:

I had already added some more Weld and small gussets in the past and I think that’s what prevented the tabs from ripping completely off and so the damage was then transferred to the bushings and it also bent the bolts.

We removed the skid plates today and all the failing self tapping screws, a total of 37 stainless nutserts are now crimped in place.

I got to try out those recovery rings that just came in the mail. They worked awesome.

This is a new mod for me, im sure there will be better ideas to come soon. We really wanted to do the P1000 door storage mod on the P700. Looks like the inside is the place to cut it.

I’ll get more info put together on this later and put it in the P700 forum if anyone is interested.

Oh, I think the P700 doors have more storage than the P1000. I got three 19.2v craftsman batteries, one impact driver, one sawsall, a small 12v drill, and about half dozen other small items I could grab quickly to jam in there.

The ole P700 is finally finished with this round of fixes and upgrades.

The new springs are great for the Fox Podiums.

The mudbusters were broken into bits from hard trail use. This new conveyor belt will last much longer.

The gasket where the header pipe meets the muffler pipe was gone and the noise was super loud. After a new gasket it is back to being super quiet and much easier on the ears.

Rear storage is finished

Oil and filter change

One new ball joint up front

One new wheel bearing in the back. The pioneer 700 uses the same wheel bearing in the back as the pioneer 1000 uses on all four corners. Just FYI

The front suspension has been repaired

We put SS nutserts in the frame for the skid plates and even added more to keep it more secure.

A new synthetic winch rope has replaced the kinked and frayed wire rope.

That’s it for now I think, we will see what @DGann tears up at Stony Lonesome this weekend.
