P1000 Trip to the Sand Mountain in Nevada

Took a trip to Sand Mountain today, 30 miles east of Fallon(google it) very interesting. It was for our daughters birthday. We were really impressed at how capible the Honda 1000-5D did in the sand. Took the tire pressure down to 9 psi a And didn't find much we couldn't climb. Lot of very high dollar sand rails there but were proud of our rig. I'm not much of a go fast in the sand guy but enjoyed going where we wanted on this unique destination.

Lol, I completely understand. We found this rattler right in the middle of a bunch of small kids riding small atv's. he had to go, way to dangerous where that snake was. I'm glad we found him before a small child did.

I did military vehicle testing at Sand Mountain a few years back and it was awesome. I'd love to go back with something fun
