I have a question. When I bought my 1000-5 it came with blinkers, heater, wiper, single battery gauge, and a horn. I have bought the True dual battery setup, but I am unsure if I can use this existing fuse box, incorporate it into a dual fue box, or if I have to start over. I plan to install a winch and leave room for a light bar as well.

Your Thoughts would be very helpful, Thank You!

Probably the most efficient way to move forward with two batteries is to leave what's there in place. I see your new battery in the upper left of the picture - that needs to be securely mounted, of course. Most will power their winch from the second or aux battery so that in a tuff winching situation the main battery will remain charged to get you home (or carry a jumper etc.). The Tru isolator will allow both batteries to be charged by the vehicle alternator, and by a plug-in charger as well. Most will install a new fuse box to get power from the second battery and run accessories from that, saving main battery power for starting and running.

Some will want to have switched and non-switched power available from the new fuse block. I can't recall if I bought mine that way or more probably, did surgery on it to split the positive side. That way I can power some things without the key-on, such as rear convenience/back-up lighting etc.

You can reuse anything that's in good shape.

Install and secure the 2nd battery
Connect nothing to the primary battery except the isolator.
Connect the winch (and any high amp draw accessories) directly to the 2nd battery.
Connect a relay to energize the fuse panel from the 2nd battery when the ignition is on.
Connect all your low amp draw stuff to the fuse box.
Optionally, add a DPDT switch to allow you to energize the relay/fuse panel with the ignition off.

This has all been well-documented on these forums, so a quick search should help you find all kinds of help (e.g., videos, schematics, pics and explanations of other people's setups, etc.).

An option to using separate switches and relays for each device and a fuse box is an Auxbeam switch - be sure to check that out.

Can you show a picture of your setup again please? I'm finally going to install the dual battery setup soon. I want to try to do it as clean as I can. Also installing a winch.
Thanks!

Probably best to review my build thread starting at this post. There are quite a few pics that show the process, as it didn't all happen at once.

This is a single shot under the hood, but it doesn't include everything, as more was added after this pic:

The P1000 I purchased used was set up like yours. When I added the aux battery I moved the red power wire on the Honda fusebox power harness from the starter relay to a positive bus bar (which I installed) that was connected to the aux battery. This allows me to keep the Honda accessory fusebox wiring intact and be powered by the aux battery. Attached is the installation instructions for the Honda fusebox,
