UPS is in USPS is out for shipping

I've never had as many lost packages in 5 years as I've had in the last 3 months with USPS! They are no longer my shipping service. I get emails almost daily for packages that have no tracking updates. Many replacement orders have been sent. I've got a couple thousand dollars of product out there somewhere! USPS is completely unreliable. I blew up on the Pakistani phone support guy this morning after wading through the stupid automated "help" options, taking 20 minutes to talk to a person!

UPS is now the go to shipping service, if they can stop damaging packages and contents. Luckily we've had a new pack and ship store open near work that makes UPS "more" convenient.

Shipping services in the US is crap now.

UPS was still showing at suppliers dock when it was delivered, USPS both are some day delivery. FedEx seems to be ok.

Same, USPS has been absolutely garbage for me since we had that southern snow storm. I've seen pictures of the Jackson MS distribution center with packages just piled to the ceiling all over the place. I have a package that was to be delivered last Tuesday go back and forth from St. Rose LA to New Orleans LA 6 times now before "Moving within the network" became it's most recent status and I have no idea where it is.

Had a few checks at work sent to vendors get stolen out of mail, altered and cashed. They appeared to get stolen out of the Columbus,OH mail processing location and we were not the only ones. Bank caught a couple of the checks before they processsed thru, but there was one for over 100k that got cashed. Bank tried to screw us on it until we had our attorney send them I friendly letter. Didn't take long to get our money back after that or for us to find a new bank.

We have used mostly UPS for packages for a long time.

USPS takes forever nowdays...
People expect 3-5 days. Taking 2 weeks, it seems.
So far, I have only sent replacements for 2 packages so far this year.

USPS is a nightmare. We still use it (not my decision) for small stuff like hardware kits and miscellaneous small stuff, but its always a gamble.

FedEx hasn't been much better in my experience. Especially from the business standpoint.

UPS is waaaaay more consistent.

But...they lose all of our stickers!!! Get it together UPS! You're making me look bad!

I've been using USPS for 6 yrs now and they've only lost one package. I don't print my own labels and have them pick them up, I actually take them and drop them off, pay the shipping on the spot and leave with the tracking numbers. Don't know if that makes a difference or not? They did pay for the package they lost too as it was insured. Had to go through a bunch of crap to get it but I did. What's ironic is that there were two going to the same small town in GA that day, one made it and one didn't. 🤷‍♂️
BTW, I've sent the same boxes through UPS before and it was twice the price.

They all suck in my experience! Even the large freight companies have been unreliable for us over the last 3-4 years.

Well, Elon has them in his sights now, so maybe UPS or Amazon can buy out USPS.

We had two packages lost by UPS last month. One was found sitting in a field nowhere near our property by someone who knew us.

USPS has a much better track record at funding our property, probably because the delivery guy is the cousin of someone we know.... in a town of less that 1000 people, that's gonna happen. The UPS and Amazon drivers come from 30 minutes away, so....
