Well my shop has been built 35 years. It’s 44 x 28 with rough cut 2x6 ceiling rafters. It has 4 inch spray in foam in the ceiling which brought the summer time temp down from 146* to 110* in the summer. It has used chicken house tin on the outside and a cement slab floor. It has a 9000 lb lift on one end. My step father and I built it for 8700.00 and that included 3 new 10 x 12 roll up doors, roll in insulation in the walls and foam board insulation in the doors. I am about 30 miles from it now but I will try and find some pics of it. I ran a diesel p/u business out of it for 15 years.
This is the north end of the shop showing the lift and the wife’s Duster I redid in 2013. The slab under the lift was 6 inches thick and the rest was 4 inches. It has a small bathroom and 2 windows each on the North and South ends.
The second pic is the south side and partial front and the last pic is looking toward the west in the middle bay. That is a ‘33 Plymouth Coupe I was building when I had my stroke. Still sitting there 9 years later. 😢
