Just wanted to take a minute to give my early opinions on the new adjuster I put on last week. Will update when I get more ride time but this is as of now.

Build quality is as good as it gets. It’s a beautiful piece milled out to perfection.

Install is straightforward and only took maybe 6-7mins. Hardest part is getting bolt back through with spring in the center.

This adjuster gives you so much more air and several different options to keep you cool or keep the dust at bay. Easy to adjust and works as designed.

The stronger spring keeps the arm all the way up when windshield is fully open so it’s not bouncing around being annoying.

I honestly don’t see anyway this piece could be improved other than to offer custom colors. I’m excited to see what else they market

Think it’s 6$ for the heavier spring. Not a must for most I’m sure but it was for me. My daughter is 12 and rides I’m middle all the time so I didn’t want it in her line of site if possible.

Choogsbro,

The spring is supposed to be with it. I'm guessing the spring made it's way out of the package from getting the hell beat out of them in the mail. We have changed the way we package so this will not be a problem in the future. I'll get one out to you in the mail today. Sorry about that.

Cliff

Thanks for the heads up. I need to change the site so customers know the new spring is included.

I also have one, it took me a few weeks to get mine installed due to a knee injury that didn’t allow me to ride for a few weeks. By the time I got it installed it was late September and our local temps had dropped out of the 90-80 degree range, so the extra wide opening wasn’t completely needed. But I found it worth the price when the windshield got dirty or muddy I would open it to see better, but later sped up and made to much wind in the face I could now reach the handle to close the windshield while wearing my 5 point harness in my talon.

It always bugged me at 5’10” when wearing my harness I had to stop and struggle so hard to reach the handle to close it, it wouldn’t be safe to do so at speeds above 15mph. Now I can quickly reach it at any speed taking my eyes off the road for just the slightest split second

First off I found my spring.

Second, chamfer chamfer chamfer shoulder bolt.

This product is very well thought out, designed, and machined. I'm not an expert but I spent 26 years as a machinist and cad/cam manager. This is Avery nice product. To keep spring from popping out I put a pin in the hole to to hold spring in. Once in place of the bracket I let the bolt push the pin thru and out. I also taped a piece of cardboard on the spring to keep from scratching the windshield. One installed I removed cardboard and put a small rubber stop on the windshield. So far I'm digging this add-on. Good job Cliff.

Tyler in Washington state. The extra length in the handle will be appreciated all times of the year even when it’s not warm

I believe we are going to start supplying a chamfered shoulder bolt with it. Also adding shrink tube to the long spring end.

We are supplying little rubber bumpers now that go on to the windshield if the adjuster hits it. Kinda strange that it does not hit on my machine unless the HDDH is in the all the way up position but seams to on others ?
