I really didn't like the idea of mounting this hitch rack on the back end, and questioned if it'd hold up or get torn off.
We needed to free up the back seats.
And we became the group refreshment vehicle.
For inexpensive cargo space, the HF rack worked out great!
350# Viper rear shock springs were also spot on for the load.

Only $ 30k Polaris ego's were harmed during the making of this trip..

No Terrabite air leaks with beadlocks on my buggy. Just sayin..
I think it makes all the difference torqueing - seating the bead correctly.
Attached recommended procedure.

No Tusk Terrabite beadlock air leaks.
I think it makes all the difference seating the bead correctly.
I've cleaned, repeated, and even used bead sealant on them. Multiple times. Two of the five just refuse to play nice with these rims. They are 10-ply, so that makes it a bit more difficult as well.

Quite a few people warned me about thier bad experiences with Terrabites and beadlocks leaking, but I went that route anyway. Live and learn.

Contact Rocky Mtn - Vurban Industries about a return.
That's my next/last step. If the Berryman Seal-r works, I'll let it be and just buy something different when the time comes. By the time I deal with dismounting, returning, mounting, balancing, and all that mess, it's not worth the hassle.

Live and learn. They are expendable items, so not a permanant major situation.

Thanks for the suggestion, though.

A club I belong to in Preston County WV, north part of the state, had a workday over the weekend. We repaired a bridge on a trail we wanted to use for an upcoming ride. All the buggies in the "after" picture below crossed the bridge before we started working on it and the Bronco crossed after we were done. All is well.

The event is this weekend if anybody is around - Ride to Remember - Tri-County Alzheimer’s Association

Before:
Buffalo run bridge before

After:

During:

How are the 350# springs without a load? Or are you always loaded pretty good?

Ah s*** - edit for short answer.
Perfect loaded.
Not too rough empty..

.....

We had -
4 adults and 1 kid along all the time, including the hitch rack, full 52 Qrt cooler and a possibles box for a 192 mile trip.

Never bottomed out, handled great and passengers had smiles all day long, even after the rides..

Mostly unimproved rocky, 2 track- horse trails, tons of water crossings and some out across the sagebrush stuff. Lots of wash outs on desert dirt roads. And a fair amount of low speed rock - climbing. Nothing really technical, but used 4wd on the off -camber slow stuff.

I did stop and let some air out of the tires. Had them pumped up anticipating the load, but was too rough.

I'm glad I spoke to some guys at a local off road shop and the sales people at Viper, who recommended the 350# springs for my application.

No more sag and now have 13.5 inches of preload with less than 3/4" spring compression.

Very happy and would do it again.
Viper was great to work with and a friend at Performance Offroad of Oregon, swapped both shock springs out for $50 bucks...hey.

Oh, and not rough empty. Could always adjust rebound, but haven’t had the need. I always have spare tire & rack, juice cans, sheepherder jack, 75 # possibles box and cooler, even solo or with with my lifetime passenger. Doesn't ride too harsh.
YMMV

Was inspired by others once again. I keep seeing all the love that Talons pre filters keep getting. So I figured the rise of the Pioneer needed to come to the light.
Not sure how close it is due to the angle but...... I'd be careful with the intake if it sits just under the lip there circled. In heavy rain/washing it water could drip/spill down and your intake could suck water in........just a thought. Looks good though 👍

I also thought the same about the mini skirt version some have hose clamped directly to the intake hole as prefilter.
Don't want a snorkel.
