Quick roundup of some more things I'm working on. Details will be updated in my build thread.

not a damn thing.it's been sitting in the shop for a month waiting for trans parts.i blew out low gear plowing snow.it's covered under warranty but i've officially lost all confidence in this thing to get me out and back home now.it seems like it's one thing after another.i ordered an LE bumper to replace the old deluxe one.i'm now looking for either a commander xmr or a krx and unloading this one.the only problem is there's nothing out there.i can get top dollar for mine but can't find a replacement.

When you say blew out first gear, did you mean # 1 clutch or you busted the actual gear? I'm sure you plow in low range, sure you know even in low range that Reverse stays in high range, that's how I burn't the first two clutches out backing up some nasty inclines, the the real fix came new passage oiling rear cover and new clutch. Good luck!

Reminded me. I was working Oakland PD, early 70's, when Eastwood and his entourage were shooting part of one of their movies at our headquarters at 455 7th St. I just saw them at a distance going from our "transportation" across the street to the main building. Yeah, we all thought he was pretty cool!

Also liked a short running spoof sort of PD show on TV called "Sledge Hammer" . . . anyone remember that? That was a time with a lot of cop shows.

True that. I really liked the job and in many ways was sorry to leave. You can't do that work for long, at least on a "busy" department, without it impacting you in some profound ways - some good, some not. Had I not started a company that did better than me, my plan was to retire from there.

UPDATE: Huge difference in the ride! Honda should be ashamed of the junk shocks they put in these things. I am very pleased with this purchase. Best upgrade dollar for dollar yet. $1600 well spent.

I just bought 5 - 28x10x14 Tusk Terrabites mounted on Uintah rims. Seeing prices going as they are and with raw rubber forecast headed up another 20%, I talked my CFO wife into a preemptive strike... and bought them.

I'll post some more info once I have time.

Might be a few weeks. Honestly with the fan and a tune it's not bad. My Dynojet wideband kit comes Monday. My next ride is purely tuning.
