I been looking for a SxS to acomadate my family of 4 but I did not like the long wheel base of the 4 seaters that are out right now,this concept that Honda has come up with is GREAT! I can't wait until they get them in at my local Honda shop.I would love to see Honda come out with a full sport SxS after they launch this bad boy,my ultimate SxS would be a big twin engine of at least a 900 or 1000 to show the other manufactors that Honda can and will make the best SxS that money can buy. :mrgreen:

Here is what I would like in a side by side.
- Power steering
- Diff lock
- 4 wheel disk brakes
- 900+cc's
- no belt driven

here is a wish list
- in-dash heater, as its cold up here
- full digital dash
- Ya 4 wheel steering would be kool too... lol.

remember when honda "tried" to put GPS in the Rincon. Be nice for them to do it right with a real touch screen gps, display/dash.

I got a Polaris RZR4 and live in Pennsylvania. Here's what I would want from a Honda SxS. All sport like my RZR4, at the least 70hp to the wheels, and here's the game changer I think Honda could bring, a paddle shift option. With Honda's transmission set up they could easily make this a reality and how much fun would it be to bang through gears while ripping around turns through the woods. Oh and if at all possible only make this thing 60" wide. LOL!! We got enough wide load SxS's right now, they might be great for the dunes but they suck for the tight woods.

gold wing motor with a flappy paddle auto trans, include the comm system from the gold wing, the nav system from the goldwing, disc bakes, power steering, a full dash(again use the goldwing tech, and 2,4 and 6 seat models in sport and utility.... yeah I know it would be a 20k near 2liter displacement machine but there would be no competition.

Probably want 12"-18" of travel as well, because it would see more airtime than a rental car during spring break.

That is a great idea as the gold wing is one of the best I have seen. If Honda moved that tech into the ATV/SXS world they would rule the market once again.

A Paddle shift converson for the Big Red and Factory Cab with Heater and power steering.And lift kit.

What HONDA needs to do to take over the market.

90+ hp (dont care if its sourced from a Gold Wing or a CIVIC!)
AT LEAST 12 INCHES OF WHEEL TRAVEL- this is not a lot compared to whats out there but with good shocks you could work with that, but not with non adjustable pogo sticks like whats been stuck on HONDA's Utility ATVs forever.
NO BELTS
Power steering
Powerful DISC breaks
selectable 4wd
Electric locking front diff
Low gear

What I wish it would have also,
big easy to get to air filter
plastic in small pieces so its cheaper to replace
NO TRUCK BED, non at all! Sure put a good sized closable storage area some where but i don't want any Utility built into this
4 point harness stock
decent size gas tank, cause it sucks being the guy who runs out of gas first and makes every one head back to the truck
60 inches (I wann ride trails darn it)
seating for 4 (yeah i have kids)
clearance for 30" tires (yeah sure send them out with 26" just don't want to be stuck small tires like on my Ridgeline)
pre wire power to, or put something in a standard double din in the dash. Then we could add what ever electronics we want!
a new name, because we cant use Pilot or Odyssey anymore!

Im feeling desperate so Im looking at an Artic Cat Wildcat 4x. At about 17k, I would rather get a TRUE SPORT HONDA sxs any day. Id even spend more money. Then I would have a reliable SXS unlike any of the current offerings.
